Jordan Feldman
Jordan believes that all students have the ability to learn and grow personally, educationally, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally. Jordan works hard to build trust with students and their families by carefully listening to student and family needs; and by demonstrating patience, kindness, authenticity, and hard work.
Jordan is passionate about meeting students where they are, setting high expectations, and supporting students in various ways to engage in the learning process. Whether that is providing students with accommodations, modifying curriculum or the educational setting, Jordan loves to work with students and help them become better versions of themselves. Areas of expertise include helping students with Autism, students with learning disabilities, students with ADHD, students with emotional and behavioral challenges, and students who struggle with literacy.
Jordan is a passionate educator who has taught in New York City Public Schools for the past eight years. Jordan is a Special Education teacher who has taught primarily in English classrooms; as well as Global History, Science, and Math. Jordan has taught grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.
